Steffen Scholz has been the Head of Corporate M&A since its inception as a corporate function in 2007 at TRUMPF. In addition to acquisitions, this function also includes post-merger processes for the successful integration of acquired companies. In his more than 25-years M&A activity, he has led more than 60 take-overs and the formation of joint ventures in various countries Asia, the USA and in Europe with deal sizes up to 150 Mio. Euro. With this experience he is not only a valued advisor for family-owned businesses but he is also active in sharing his strategic and M&A know how within an extended network of entrepreneurs and M&A colleges at various congress panels and at M&A training courses.
Prior to his time at TRUMPF, he led numerous M&A projects and strategic planning at the automotive supplier Mann + Hummel. As a mechanical engineering graduate with a later industrial engineering qualification and then an MBA in London, he before gained additional business experience in various management functions selling mechanical engineering products.
